William Buford Joslin

William Buford Joslin, 77 years of age, of White Bluff, TN, passed away August 4, 2023 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.

He was born October 9, 1945, in Dickson County, TN, to the late Curtis and Eleanor (Griffin) Joslin.

William was easy going, laid back, and liked by all who knew him. He loved his family, and especially his two grandchildren. He had a huge love for kids, dogs, and reading.  He was a huge UT fan and an avid golfer, so much that once he retired from Nashville Wire after 32 years, he began working part-time at Montgomery Bell, when it wasn't too cold, so that he could play the game. He is a Veteran of the United States Navy and was in the 7th fleet during the Vietnam War.

Those left to cherish his memory are, son, Michael (Laurel) Joslin; grandchildren, Melinda (Ryan) Wright and Matthew Joslin; and two brothers, Douglas (Carolyn) Joslin and Ray (Neva) Joslin.

Visitation with the family will be at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the White Bluff Chapel with Bro. Jerry Duke officiating. Interment will be at Williams Cemetery in White Bluff, TN
