Violet Anita Wills passed away October 8, 2022 in Nashville. Anita was born 84 years ago to the late Perry and Hazel Royse in Waynesboro, TN. Anita was known to many as Mama Wills. She was a loving person. To know her was to love her, and she loved you too. She was also a strong, hardworking, independent woman. She retired from Tennesco and Food Lion. Mama Wills will be missed by many especially her family. She was preceded in death by her brother Perry Richard Royse, her son Dennis Wills and her grandson Shannon Powell. Survivors include 4 children Nita K. (Wayne) Powell, Ricky (Rhonda) Wills, Lynn Wills (David Norden, Fiancé) and Susie (Binky) Garrett; 10 grandchildren Joann Selke, Amy Longtin, Charlene (Stuart) Johnson, Jessica Galloway, BJ Sensing, Lakeisha (Chris) Cunningham, Nancy (Chris) Loftis, Cody Brown, Braxton Brown, and Chase Garrett; 2 step-grandchildren Michelle Bateman and Melissa Disomma; 14 great-grandchildren Courtney Selke, Kristen Selke, Kaitlin Selke, Seth Overton, Austin Sensing, Brannon Galloway, Zach Longtin, Abby Galloway, Logan Sensing, Cameron Galloway, Eden Overton, Emery Loftis, Maven Loftis and Ivy Claire Cunningham; 5 step-great-grandchildren Kyle Bateman, Layla Bateman, Kiadance Northington, Jacob Cunningham and Alleigha Cunningham; 4 great-great-grandchildren Bensyn, Bryson, Kaisyn and Emersyn; 3 sisters-in-law that were her best friends, Jean Royse, Joyce Wills and Annie Jean Ferebee. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lung Cancer Research in her memory. There will be a memorial service for Mama Wills at a later date.
