Tate Alexander Thorson

Tate Thorson, 31 years of age, of Bon Aqua, TN, passed away April 18, 2023, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.

Tate was born December 19, 1991, in Rochester, Minnesota to Jamie Schroeder and Tina Thorson.

Tate loved his family and enjoyed his nieces and nephews. He had a huge heart with a tough exterior. Everyone that knew him knew that if Tate was around the room would be filled with smiles and laughter. He loved all music; Pitbulls, fast cars and trucks. His favorite truck was his 1984 Dodge.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Dale Mangrum, Sr and Mike Thorson, and an uncle, Ben Thorson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jamie and Brandy Schroeder of Bon Aqua, TN and Tina Thorson (Alex) OF Kasson, MN; grandmothers, Melinda Mangrum and Jane McKinny, both of Bon Aqua, TN, and Terry Murphy of Dodge City, MN; great-grandmother, Betty Mangrum of Bon Aqua, TN; siblings, Brittani Thorson, Tyler Mangrum, Chance Drees, Star Mangrum, and Mason Shaw; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home.
