Rockie Leon Simons, known for his kind heart and gentle spirit, passed away March 27, 2024, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. He was born in Dickson, TN, on April 30, 1953, to the late Williams Curtis and Fola (Bailey) Simons.
In his journey of life, Rockie was blessed with a loving family and friends. He is survived by his ex-wife, Billie Simons; Rockie also leaves behind his adoring daughters: Janet Simons, Jenny Simons, and Roxanna Simons-Williams (married to Undraye Williams); sister, Goldie (David) Styles, and brother Charles Ray (Lynnette) Simons; and 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who brought him endless pride and happiness.
In addition to his parents, Rockie is now reunited with siblings, William Curtis, Jr., Larry Warren, Peggy Jean Hood, and Cathy Marie Bradshaw.
A Graveside Service will be held to honor and celebrate Rockie Leon Simons on April 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Tennessee City Cemetery. May his gentle soul rest in peace knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
