Rajkumar Dass

Rajkumar Dass, 78 years of age of Santa Fe, TN, passed away August 4, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Rajkumar was born October 17, 1944, in Delhi, India to the late John P. and Miriam Dass.

He was a wonderful father and an even better husband, for 58 years to Maya. He was a very masculine, but very gentle, “A Gentle Giant.”  He was an all-around good man with a great sense of humor. He loved to cook and will be so very missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Maya (Cornelius) Dass; children, Rajiv Dass, Renu (Sumit) Chand, and Ravi (Rhonda) Dass; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ishwar Dass, and Prem Dass; and sister, Veena Dass.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with Funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Dickson Funeral Home, 209 East College St., Dickson, TN. Pastor Norman Manning will be officiating. Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
