Phyllis Work 96, loving wife, devoted mother, died on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, Ohio.

She was born to Sanna L Duncan on May 29, 1927 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She married Jack Work on October 1, 1949 .in Detroit, Michigan.

Phyllis was an avid reader, who loved traveling, spending winters in Lake Wales, Florida.

Surviving, her loving husband of 73 years, Jack F Work, children, Sue Jane, Gary (Kristie) and Mark (Linda) Work; grandchildren, Melissa, Sarah, Alison, Katelyn and Arthur; great-grandchildren, Peter and Henry.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday August 10, 2023 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held on Friday 11:00 AM. Private Graveside services will be held at Dickson Union Cemetery, Dickson, Tennessee.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or the Local Humane Society
