Marvin Ellis Presgraves

Marvin Ellis Presgraves of Dickson, TN.; Passed away on November 13, 2018 at his home at the age of 80.  He was born in White Post, Virginia on March 7, 1938 to the late William Franklin and Mary Elizabeth (Foster) Presgraves.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Elwood, infant brother Winton, and Winston Presgraves; as well as his sister Verna Mae Presgraves Tomblin. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Mona N. Presgraves of Dickson, TN;  son Ted Presgraves and wife Patricia, Dickson, TN; daughter Melissa and husband Harold Ferrell of Dickson TN; sister Margaret Self of Lebanon Church, VA; sisters-in-law Reba Presgraves of Berryville, VA and Doris Anderson of Madison TN; as well as grandchildren Nikita Deberry, Brian Presgraves, and Gene Ferrell; great grandchildren Michael Presgraves, Andrew Deberry, and Harper Deberry. Mr. Presgraves proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 18, 2018, from 3 PM – 8 PM; and will continue on Monday, November 19, 2018, from 2 PM – 8 PM  at the Dickson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10:45 AM until time of services at Freedom Baptist Church in Colesburg, TN. Funeral Services for Mr. Presgraves will be at 12 Noon at Freedom Baptist Church  Colesburg, Tn.
