Lucy Modine Barnhill

Lucy Modine (Warren) Barnhill, 88 years of age, of Primm Springs, TN, passed away August 12, 2024, at NHC in Dickson. 

She was born October 13, 1935, in Hickman County, TN, to the late William Andrew and Lucy (Hudgins) Warren.

Lucy was a lifelong resident of Williamson County. She was a devoted Christian lady and a member of Liberty Lincoln Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. During her life, she was a homemaker, farmer, and a cafeteria manager at France Lighting Solutions. She enjoyed quilting. She was a fantastic cook and always cooked with love.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Vernon Palmer Barnhill; brothers, Ellis Warren and Grover Warren; and a sister, Emma Lea Warren Turman. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tim (Regina) Barnhill and Steve (Teresa) Barnhill; sisters, Louise Warren Bradford and Delvin Warren Beard; granddaughters, Michelle (Chris) Alley, Jennifer (Ernie) Butler, Rebecca (Charles) Little, and Callie (Jonathan) Coble; great-grandchildren, Seth, Cora, Trenten, Emily, Jack, Miles, Charlie Ford, Daisy, Addie, and Henry; and sister-in-laws, Joan (Grover) Warren, Alma Barnhill (Al) Wehby, and Dawn (Randy) Barnhill.

A Visitation and Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Five Points Church of Christ, 9040 Old Nashville Rd, Bon Aqua, TN. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Bro. Michael Binkley will be officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, TN.
