Lester Wayne Dickson, born on November 3, 1957, in Dickson, TN, to Bernice Dickson and the late Larry Dickson; passed away May 21, 2024, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. He was known for his love of aggravating and picking on people.
In his free time, Lester enjoyed Barbequeing hogs, spending quality moments with his friends, and partying with the best of them. He loved his momma, talking to her daily. If you were friends with Lester, you know that he was a "Once a friend, always a friend," kinda guy. he had a couple of famous sayings that stuck throughout his life, "You dont know what I know" and "You will never follow my footsteps."
Lester is survived by his mother, Bernice Dickson; daughter, Lacey Swinehart; seven grandchildren; siblings: Evelyn (Merle) Drinkard, Bubba (Debbie) Dickson, Brenda Howard (Eugene), Joann Choate, and Gary Dickson; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Dickson, and brother-in-law, Denny Choate.
A Graveside service will be on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Dickson Family Cemetery, with Carlos Thompson officiating. Pallbearers will include, Eddie Lewis, Shaun Dickson, Jason Dickson, Lee Dunn, Eric Dunn, Dale Stepp, Timmy Cunningham, and Connor Bishop.
