Joshua Wayne Slayton- age 33, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Hurst, Texas on March 4, 1986 to Mr. Ivan Slayton and Mrs. Sherry Groves. He is survived by his Father, Ivan Slayton (Kelly) of Kaufman, Texas; Mother, Sherry Groves (Jeff) of White Bluff, TN; Wife, Kristen Slayton of Dickson, TN; Sons, Logan Slayton and Hunter Slayton of Dickson, TN; Daughters, Rylee Slayton and Sarah Harper of Dickson, TN and Kinley Slayton of McEwen, TN; Great-Grandmother, Vivian Slayton of Terrell, Texas; Step-Sisters, Heather Groves of Ashland City, TN; Step-Brother, Jason Howard of Hurst, Texas; Uncles, Steve Slayton, and Scott, Steve, Rusty and Johnny Blanks; Aunts, Roxanna Heckathorn of Irving, Texas, Robin Pickard and Missy Blanks of Dickson, TN; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, George (Buddy) and Barbara H. Blanks; Paternal grandfather, Melton Slayton; Sister, Jessica Slayton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the White Bluff Chapel from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. Service at 12:00p.m. with Pastor Bobby Morgan officiating.
