Johnny "John" Lewis Smith, Sr.

Johnny Lewis Smith, Sr. of Dickson, TN; Age 85; Passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at his residence.

He was born in Manheim, NY on March 21, 1933, to the Late Robert P.J. Smith, and Magalina (Kingsberry) Smith.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rheta Alberta Smith; sisters Margie Restane´, Catherine Agnew, Anna Lynch, Jane Smith, and Mary Rhinehart; as well as his brothers Edward Orvill, Walter Robert, and Tracy Richard Smith.

He is survived by his son John L. “Butch” Smith, Jr. (Beverly) of Dickson, TN; grandchildren Russell Wade Smith, and Jennifer Ann Thomas; great-grandchildren Jordan, Taylor, and Emily Thomas, and Cameron Smith; as well as his loving dog Benji.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 5 – 8 PM, Monday, October 29, 2018, from 10 – 8 PM - with Masonic Services beginning at 7:30 PM, and will continue on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from 10:00 AM – until the time of services.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Sid Nance officiating.

Burial will follow at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
