Johnny Reb Blanks

Johnny Reb Blanks, age 61, of White Bluff, TN, passed away Nov. 28, 2020 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. Johnny was born July 18, 1959 in Pensacola, FL, to the late George "Buddy" and Barbara (Hickerson) Blanks. He is survived by three daughters, Brook Spicer (Chris Yates) of White Bluff, TN, Savannah (Ryan) Arthur of Nashville, TN, and Phallen Blanks (Robert) Hay of Dickson, TN; two brothers, Scott Blanks of White Bluff, TN, and Rusty (Denise) Blanks of La Grange; four sisters, Roxanna (Bruce) Heckathorn of Dallas, TX, Sherry Jean (Jeff) Groves of Nunnelly, TN, Robin (David) Pickard of Dickson, TN, and Missy Blanks of Dickson, TN; and eight grandchildren, Paxton Spicer, Cameron Spicer, Ethon Spicer, Gryphon Yates, Emaline Arthur, Everett Arthur, Makenzi Hay, and Allison Hay. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Steve Blanks and a nephew, Josh Slayton. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and will resume on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with a burial to follow to Nosegay Cemetery in White Bluff, TN.
