Mr. Jimmy "Dude" Travis of Dickson, Tennessee passed away at the age of 65 May 13, 2021 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee. He was born July 26,1955 to the late Albert and Alma Travis in Dickson, Tennessee. Mr. Travis is survived by His wife Rita Travis of Dickson, Tn.; Son James Travis Jr., of Dickson, Tn.; Brothers Bobby (Ann) Travis of Dickson, Tn., and William Travis of Charlotte, Tn.; Sisters Roberta Sutton of Southside, Tn., Helen (Bill) Wall of Charlotte, Tn., and Diane (Billy) Hayes of Dickson, Tn.; Grandson Hunter Travis; and Great grandson Lincoln Travis. Mr. Travis is preceded in death by parents, Albert and Alma Travis; daughter, Wendy Dawn Travis; and brothers, Nelson and Howard Travis. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home.
