James Carlton Owens

Mr. James Carlton Owens, age 79, of Dickson, TN passed away at his home on June 30, 2020. Mr. Owens was born on May 5, 1941 to the late Paul Owens and Doye (Myatt) Owens. He is survived by his wife Pamela (Johnson) Owens of Dickson, TN; son, Daryl Owens of Dickson, TN (friend Tabitha Owens of Waverly); daughters Debra Ann Gibson of Dickson, Lisa Talley of Dickson, TN; stepdaughter Aleashia Allen, brother, Joe Ray Owens of Dickson, TN; sister Janet Kay (Kenny) Johnson of Dickson, TN; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his sons James Carlton Jr. and Warren Paul Owens; infant brother, Paul Allen; son in law, John Talley and sister in law Sara Owens. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, July 2nd from 2:00pm - 8:00pm and again on Friday July 3rd from 10:00am until time of service. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home on Friday, July 3rd at 2:00pm with entombment to follow at Dickson County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
