James Ray Jones

James Ray Jones – Age 63 of Portland, Tn- passed away on January 14, 2020 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tn. He was born in Davidson County, Tn on October 15, 1956 to the late Mr. Kenneth Jones and Mrs. Doris (Harrison) Hooper. Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his stepmother Marion Jones, his son Scottie Lee Jones, and a brother Hank W. Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his sons: James Ray (Kim) Jones of Portland, Tn and Mike Jones of Dickson, Tn; brothers: Keith (Rhonda) Jones of Portland, Tn, and Kenny E. (Faye) Jones of Bon Aqua, Tn; sisters: Deborah Schingledecker of Kennewick, Washington and Marion Smith of Bon Aqua, Tn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren Mike Jones, Tommy Jones, Cortney Jones, Taylor Jones, Summer Jones, and Kaylee Jones and, 2 great grandchildren Treniti and Nova Jones. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 18, 2020 from our Fairview Chapel in Fairview, Tn from 12pm until the time of services. Services will be held at 3pm.
