Howard Lee Norman

Howard Lee Norman, age 73, of Dickson, TN passed away on July 15, 2023 peacefully at his home
surrounded by family. Howard was born on June 30, 1950 to the late James and Christine Bishop
Norman of Dickson, TN. He was a life-long water well driller and owner of Norman Well Drilling since
1999. He served in the Army National Guard for six years.
Howard was an avid fisherman who greatly enjoyed fishing on Dale Hollow Lake and family trips off the
coast of Florida for deep sea fishing. He also treasured his horses and loved riding and showing them.
He took pride in his work and treated everyone equally.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patricia Norman; sons Michael Norman (Annette), Christopher
Norman, and James Norman (Jana DeLuna); grandsons Alex and Brandon Norman; brother Robert
Norman and sister Kathy Norman McCollum.
Preceded in death by parents James Norman and Christine Bishop Norman; brother Paul Norman.
The family has elected to forego a service and, in lieu of flowers, requests donations be made to St.
Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
