Flora Etta Jones

Fairview – Mrs. Flora Etta Lohman Jones, age 80, went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2018.  She passed away peacefully of natural causes at the Alive Hospice Residence in Murfreesboro.   Flora was born in Soddy, TN on October 10, 1938 to the late Fred Bennett Lohman and Flora Emeline Gann Lohman.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Ewell “Mouse” Jones of Fairview.   She is survived by daughter Kristie Burnett of Fairview, son Eric (Missy) Jones of Little Rock, and 5 grandchildren:  Leah and Dale Burnett, and Harrison, Maggie, and Julianna Jones, and by her brother Thomas E. (Faye) Lohman of Gallatin.   A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 22nd at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church of Fairview.  Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00.  A private burial will follow.  Arrangements handled by Dickson Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN.
