Elbert V. Tidwell

Elbert V. Tidwell, age 77, of Dickson TN, left his earthly home to his eternal home on July 14, 2020 after a very brave battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Mr. Tidwell was born in Hickman County on November 23, 1942 to the late Hugh Redrick Tidwell and Sarah Alice (Jordan) Tidwell. He is survived by brothers, Coy Tidwell (Ruth) of Houston, TX and Troy H. Tidwell of Galveston, TX; sisters, Wilma T. Sullivan of Bon Aqua, TN, Helen Tidwell of White Bluff, TN, Faye Robinson (Tom) of Chattanooga, TN, and Fern Arnold of Lyles, TN; several uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins. In addition to his parents Mr. Tidwell was preceded in death by his brother, Derryl Tidwell; sisters, Lovene T. Hancock and Mazel T. Welch; nephews, Danny Hancock, Scott Sullivan, and Randy Tidwell. Visitation with the family will be at Dickson Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 10:00am until the time of service. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home on Thursday, July, 16 2020 at 11:00am.
