Edith JoAnn Cato

Edith JoAnn Cato, age 86, of Dickson, TN, passed away February 9, 2022 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Edith was born June 13, 1935 in Dickson County, TN, to the late Jewel Buford and Opal (Goodwin) Stokes. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Kathy (Butch) Dean of Dickson, TN, and Patsy (Richard) Gibbs of Camden, TN; brother, David (Melba Ann) Stokes of Waynesboro, TN; sister, Melba Sue Brown of White Bluff, TN; five grandchildren, Shonna, April, Mesha, Heather, and Peyton; and five great-grandchildren, Michaela, Aiden, Joey, Asher, and Morgan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Martin; brother, Kenneth Stokes; and brother-in-law, Richard Brown. Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 14, 2022 at Dickson Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, February 14, 2022 in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Dickson County Memorial Garden.
