Dorothy Ann Lewis

Dorothy Ann Lee Travis Lewis, age 81, of Dickson, TN, passed away peacefully at death on June 26, 2021 at her residence. Dorothy was born October 6, 1939 in Dickson County, Tennessee to the late, James Robert and Edna Bruce Lee. She worked at Corroon & Black in Nashville, TN. She retired in 2012 from Walnut Street Church of Christ Day Care. Mrs. Lewis is survived by three sons, Ronnie (Tawanda) Travis of Mt Juliet, TN, Jeff (Tanya) Travis of McEwen, TN, and Doug Travis of Stayton, TN; step-daughter, Dawn (Mark) Smith of Missouri; step-son, Marty Lewis of Utah; two sisters, Becky (Dallas) Goodnight, and Shirley (Dalton) Adkins; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a niece. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lewis; brother, Sammie Lee; and step-son, Brian Lewis. Visitation with the family will be at Dickson Funeral Home, Friday, July 2, 2021 from 2:30-8:00 P.M., and will resume, Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 3, 2021 from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
