Dana Miles Owens

Dana Miles Owens, 81 years of age, of Dickson, TN, passed away on August 18, 2023, at his residence.

Dana was born November 9, 1941, in Ft. Knox, KY, to the late Harlan Hector and Corrine (Buton) Owens.

He was a great father to his three daughters, Patricia, Vanessa, and Tina. He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his family. He loved truck driving, fishing, reading, and woodworking. He also enjoyed telling stories with anecdotes and had a huge, sweet tooth. Yes dear, Love Daddy!

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Dana Miles Owens, Jr.; and two grandsons, Jesse, and Joseph Sanders. Those left to cherish his memory are his, wife of 63 years, Lula Mai Owens; daughters, Patricia (Daniel) Coone, Vanessa Owens, and Tina (Jeffery) Rich; grandchildren, Rebecca (Josh) Johnson, Racheal (Joe) Dearborn, J.D. (Chandler) Sumerour, and Kayla (Larson) Petty; and great-grandchildren, Brysen, Jacob, Brenen, Brock, Elizabeth, Neyland, Jackson, and Asher.

There will be a Graveside service at 5:30 p.m. at Edwards Cemetery in Dickson, TN, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
