Christopher Thomas Lips

Christopher Thomas Lips, age 49, of Centerville, TN, passed away January 1, 2023, at his residence.

Christopher was born June 10, 1973, in Hattiesburg, Miss to Howard Thomas Lips and Barbara (Bond) Beall.

He was an avid musician, being a guitar player, as well as a singer/songwriter; and playing in several bands.  He loved his family and his job.  He loved playing X-box and watching old movies. Kit-Kat’s and Mountain Dew was his favorite snacks.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Howard Lips of Mobile, AL; mother, Barbara Beall of Jackson, Mississippi; son, Caleb Lips of Centerville, TN; daughter, Chelsey Lips of Centerville, TN; three grandchildren, Calvin Lips, Trace Lips, and Ivan Lips; brother, Chad Delmas of Pascagoula, Mississippi; and step-mother, Kathy Lips of Pascagoula, Mississippi. Preceding him in death is a sister, Maura Beall.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 9, 2023, at Dickson Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Howard Lips officiating.
