CHRISTOPHER GREGORY GORDON of McEwen, TN passed away on September 10, 2018 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was 52.
The family met with many of Christopher’s friends and co-workers at the Visitation on Thursday, September 13 at the Dickson Funeral Home in Dickson, TN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be scheduled at a later date at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, followed by Interment at Dumaguete Memorial Park Cemetery in Dumaguete City, Philippines.
Chris was born on November 17, 1965 in Santa Monica, CA to William Larry Gordon and Heima Anders Gordon. He spent most of his childhood years in Hawaii and Alaska. He married his soul mate Lucelle Lyn Ambo on December 15, 2004. In May 2007, Chris graduated with honors from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. He and Lucelle lived in the Philippines for a couple years, where he built a home. He loved and was loved by all of Lucelle’s family. Upon returning to the US, Chris was employed by Outpatient Imaging Affiliates in Franklin, TN as a Database Analyst until his death. Chris and Lucelle loved to travel whenever possible. Chris was a talented musician. He not only played the piano and the guitar, but wrote and recorded many beautiful songs. Chris was loved and highly respected by all who knew him and he will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his wife Lucelle Lyn Gordon of McEwen TN; daughter Ashlee Lyn (Gordon) Suddeath of Burns, TN; son Zachery Dean Burk-Gordon and wife Valinda of Dickson, TN; granddaughters Emilee Suddeath and Kennedi Gordon; parents William Larry Gordon of Anchorage, AK and Heima Anders Gordon of Hawaii; brother Sean Gordon of Anchorage, AK; aunt Bernie and uncle Steve Gordon of Gainesville, TX; aunt Patricia Lewis of Kingwood, TX; his “adopted” family from the Pilipino Community and many more relatives, co-workers and close friends.
Chris was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
