Carolyn Cooksey Reilly

Carolyn Cooksey Reilly – Age 79, of Nashville, passed away September 23, 2023.

Carolyn was born October 2, 1943 to the late Bethel Waynick Cooksey and John Milton Cooksey in Vanleer, TN. She was loving, loyal and Compassionate woman. She always put others first and would give you anything she had to give. She enjoyed traveling, boating, reading a good book, doing pottery, playing tennis, cooking, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson who she would say “She Loved More Than Life itself.”

She is also preceded in death by her brother Robert Milton Cooksey. Survived by her loving children, Kimberly Reilly Barnes (Rollin “Barney” Barnes, Jr.); Christopher Reilly (Mariela); grandchildren, Gabriela Cormier (Mark), Dominic Reilly & Kaitlyn Barnes; great-grandson, Mark Cormier, Jr.; sister-in-law, Barb Reed Cooksey.

Funeral Services will be 12:00pm, Thursday, September 28^th with burial to follow at Cooksey Cemetery in Vanleer. Visitation will be 10:00am – 12:00pm, Thursday at Dickson Funeral Home, 209 E College Street, Dickson, TN, 37055
