Buna Mai Lampley

Buna Mai Lampley, age 98, of McEwen, TN passed away on December 27, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Lampley was the oldest serving pastor for the Church of God of Prophecy in the State of Tennessee.  Mrs. Lampley was born in Dickson County, TN on April 9, 1920 to the late Isaac (Ike) Thomas and Kitty Catherine (Neblett) Christy. She was also preceded in death by her husband Willard Lampley; grandson Maylon Wall; infant great-great-great grandson; three brothers, Russell, Hanney, and Herschel Christy; and two sisters, Lois Lane, and Lillie Neblett. She is survived by her son, Austin (Delores) Lampley of McEwen,TN; two daughters, Rachel Wall of McEwen, TN, and Emma Lee Lampley of McEwen, TN; seven grandchildren, Carlos Lampley; Stephen (Carolyn) Wall; Murvill (Lori) Wall; Keith (Terri) Wall; Anthony Lampley; Ameia (Mike) Capps; and Angela DeLoach; 14 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; also leaving all of her spiritual children to mourn her loss.  Visitation for Mrs. Lampley will be Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 2:30-8:30 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 2:00-8:30 PM, and Friday January 4, 2019 from 10:00-2:00 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home. Pallbearers - Steve Murvil; Keith, Wesley, and Dylan Wall; and Carlos and Anthony Lampley. Honrary Pallbearers - Micheal and Joshua Capps Funeral Service for Mrs. Lampley will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Dickson Funeral Home, with Burial following at Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview.
