Betty Lou Story

Betty Lou Story, age 83, of Dickson, TN, passed away April 3, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Betty was born September 16, 1936 in Dickson County, TN, to the late Herman and Clorene (Huff) Guthrie. She is survived by a son, Mike (Janis) Story of Dickson, TN; two sisters, Rosie (Hix) Choate of Dickson, TN, and Wanda Guthrie of Waverly, TN; two brothers, Kenneth (Faye) Guthrie of Dickson, TN, and Lawrance Guthrie of Dickson, TN; and seven grandchildren, Brian Story, Nathan Story, Jason Story, Craig Brown, Daniel Brown, Beth Davis, and Jeffrey Burnett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Story; two sons, Danny and Jerry Story; a daughter, Peggy Shelton; four sisters, Earline Bellar, Annie Lee Choate, Bertie Sue Dickson, and Frances Guthrie; and four brothers, Edward Guthrie, Robert Guthrie, James Guthrie, and Wayne Guthrie. Due to the current events, there will be a family graveside service at Union Cemetery in Dickson, TN on Monday, April 6, 2020 with Bro. Jerry Jenkins officiating.
