Anita Mae Spicer

Anita Mae Spicer, 61 years of age, of White Bluff, TN, passed away September 2, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.

Anita was born October 4, 1961, in Charlotte, TN, to the late, Raymond Alfred and Dollie Lee (Hood) Sensing.

She was a very special lady, with a big heart. She was hard working, very intelligent, and very devoted to her family, but especially to Jimmy. She was an animal lover; when she was able, she loved to ride horses. She loved to be outdoors and could drive almost anything, including a tractor.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Russell Spicer. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 16 years, James Spicer; mother-in-law, Joyce Spicer; step-children, Matthew (Mary) Spicer, Zach (Mylinda) Spicer, and Anthony (Sarah) Spicer; step-grandchildren, Paxton, Charles, Ethan, Brice, Caroline, Andrew, and Kyli Spicer; and three fur babies, Libby, Pepper, and Gus.

Services will be Friday, September 8, 2023, at Dickson Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Wayne Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Church Cemetery.
