Helen Marie Brecht

Helen Marie Brecht, age 67 passed away on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 in Lyles, TN.  She was born on October 7th, 1950 in Jasper, FL to the late Melvin S. Simmons and Arlene Kennedy McCann.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband,  James T. Brecht and brother, John Simmons. She is survived by her son, James Thomas Brecht (Michele) of Bon Aqua; daughter Virginia A. Taylor (Bobby Head) of Ashland City, TN; three sisters, Margaret Warden of Bon Aqua, Sylvia Kennedy of Fairview and Linda Crowley of Simi Valley, CA.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Samantha Ellis, Jinny Taylor, Jeremy, Dakota, Caitlyn, Hailey, and Zachary Brecht, as well as nine great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 4th, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will begin from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
