Mary Frances Tidwell

Mary Frances Tidwell of Erin, TN; Age 84; Passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Waverly Health Care and Rehab in Waverly, TN. She was born in Dickson County, TN on December 23, 1932 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Carmel Curtis and Idia (Fortner) Hudson.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Thomas Eugene Dotson, Abron Leo Tidwell, and Sterling Amos Tidwell; sons Carl Dotson, as well as an infant son; daughters Mamie Ruth Fleet, and Deborah Kay Tidwell; sisters Dorothy May, and Louise Weatherly; as well as her brothers Curtis Leo Hudson, Danny Hudson, Jr., and Bobby Hudson. She is survived by her husband James Bridges of Erin, TN; sons Philip Tidwell of Waverly, TN, Marty Joe Tidwell (Peggy) of Erin, TN, and Donald Leo Tidwell of Nashville, TN; daughters Dorothy Brumit of Charlotte, TN, Diana Swearingen of Charlotte, TN, Betty Ann Clark of Erin, TN, and Teresa Lynn Perkins (Cliff) of Raceland, KY; step-sons James K. Bridges of Erin, TN, Lynn Matthew Bridges of TX, and Robert Bridges of TX; sisters Mattie Pearl Smith of TX, and Glynda Faye of KS; as well as 25 grandchildren and several great, and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will begin on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 3 – 8 PM, and will continue on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 10 AM – until time of services. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Baker Cemetery.
