William Douglas Donegan

William Douglas “Doug” Donegan, age 89 passed away on Tuesday, October 10th at his residence in Bon Aqua, TN.  He was born in Dickson County on May 3rd, 1928 to the late Doss Dalton and Addie Booker Donegan.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Donegan; daughter Susan Newberry; granddaughter, Karie Newberry; brothers James and Donald Donegan; as well as a sister, Christine Donegan. He is survived by his son, Garry Donegan, and daughter Gloria Pendergrass, both of Bon Aqua; brothers Cecil Donegan of Bon Aqua, J.B. Donegan of Dickson; and five grandchildren, Tiana Austin, Autumn Clark, Summer Rawlings, Nikki Adcox, and Brandy Richardson;  as well as several great-grandchildren.  Funeral services for Mr. Donegan will be held on Friday, October 13th at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Fielder Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, October 12th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
