Peter Anthony Allotta

Peter Anthoiny Allotta, Jr.; Age 88; Passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at NHC the Trace in Nashville, TN.  He was born on March 27, 1929 in New York City to the late Peter Andrew & Agatha Localio Allotta.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Alfonsina Allotta; son-in-law Michael David Fanfalone; as well as his sisters Maria Allotta & Frances Gillott. Mr. Allotta served his country in the United State Navy from 1947 until 1954 and then was employed by the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1990. He is survived by daughter Kathleen Fanfalone (Ronald Rahrig) of Burns, TN; son Thomas Allotta (Stacy) of Bowie, MD; sister Antoinette Talapan of Budd Lake, NJ; granddaughter Rachel Bowermaster (Kirstan); and two great-grandchildren, Kaden Michael & Davon Robert Bowermaster. A Christian Mass will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:30 AM from the St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Dickson, TN with Father Matthew Perumpally presiding.  A private inurnment to follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the St. Jude Chrildren’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
