Dorothy Jean Grove

Dorothy Jean Grove, age 88 passed away on Monday, May 22nd at her residence in Dickson.  She was born on July 7th, 1928 to the late Thomas Aaron and Lyda Page Hudson.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Dennis and Maggie Page; husband George Edgar Grove; sons, Timothy Dale and Gerald Wayne Hudson; daughter in law Charlotte Grove; great-grandson, Devin Selke; and sister Margaret Madewell.  She is survived by two sons, Ray Grove (Brenda) and Eddie Gene Grove, Sr. of Dickson; three daughters, Wanda Lyons of Dickson, Niva Louise Lewis of Charlotte, Selena Dianne Grove of Dickson; brother William Jackson Hudson of Toledo, OH; two sisters, Marion Lewis and Martha Hudson of Dickson; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, May 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Dickson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with her grandson, Roger D. Grove officiating.  Interment to follow at Rock Church of Christ Cemetery.
