Anna Beatrice (Hayes) Mackens

Anna Beatrice (Hayes) Mackens; of Vanleer, TN; Age 81; Passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in Franklin, TN. She was born in Dickson County, TN on December 28, 1935 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Buddy Hensley and Nannie Byde (Sykes) Hayes.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Johnny Mackens; as well as her daughter-in-law Sondra (Sam) Mackens. Mrs. Mackens is survived by her son Doyle Dwayne Mackens of Charlotte, TN; daughter Connie Sue Ikard (Jay) of Franklin, TN; brother Terry Wayne Hayes of Cumberland Furnace, TN; sisters Betty Geneva Norris of Vanleer, TN, and Kathleen Ellis of Franklin, TN; grandson Travis Mackens; step-grandchildren Steven Lilly, Jeremy Street; great grandchildren Raven Abigail Mackens, and Preslyn Emsley Mackens; as well as  Lilly Claire Street, step-great grandchild Lilly Claire Street; as well as her beloved nephew Cody Lee Hayes. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 4 – 8 PM and again on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 10 – until time of services. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Ted Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Vanleer Cemetery.
