William "Bill" Watkins

William “Bill” Watkins; of White Bluff, TN; Age 76; Passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Mr. Watkins was born in Humphreys County, TN on April 28, 1940 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Frank & Nettie Mae (Ladd) Watkins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Grace Creviston, Agnes Rhinefold, Sue Lane, and Ora Petty; as well as his brother Donald Watkins. Mr. Watkins is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Watkins; son William R. Watkins, Jr.; daughter Karen Lynn Woodard; brothers John T. Watkins, Charles “Chuck” Watkins, and Al Watkins; sister Wanda Lane; granddaughter Jessica Woodard; as well as two great grandchildren Hannah Marie & Hayden Dwayne Moore. Mr. Watkins proudly served his county in the United States Army from ’58 – ’67. The visitation will begin on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM – until time of service at the White Bluff Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
