William Thomas Graves

William Thomas Graves, age 88 passed away on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 at his residence in Fairview, TN.  He was born on April 22nd, 1928 to the late James and Zady Howell Graves in Blount County, AL.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Graves; brothers, Avril, Earl, Edward, and Jr. Graves; sister Allene Cook; and grandchildren, Michael Bryant and Candy and Bridgett Thayer. He is survived by three sons, William “Billy” Edward Graves of Panama City, FL, Donald (Lisa) and Robert Graves of Fairview; four daughters, Brenda Patterson, Evelyn Freeman(Donald), Alice Hudgens (Dennis) all of Fairview, Kathie Price (Andy) of Dickson; one brother, Paul Allen Graves of  Cullman, AL and sister Lucille McClendon also of Cullman.  He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.  Services will be held on Friday, January 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home.  Visitation with the family will begin on Thursday, January 12th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Cemetery.   Arrangements by Dickson Funeral Home, 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN  37055.  Phone 615-446-2313.  Online condolences may be left at www.dicksonfuneralhome.com.
