Carrie Lily Myatt

March 3, 1918 — December 4, 2016

Carrie Dickens Myatt, age 98 passed away on Sunday, December 4th, 2016 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN.  She was born on March 3rd, 1918 in Elmwood, TN to the late Clarence McKinley and Daisy Nolen Dickens.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Marlin Myatt; son Carl Myatt; grandsons Bobby and Bruce Lamb, Jeff Myatt; and sister Virginia Sanders Driver.  She is survived by one step-son, Larry Delmar of Burns, TN; two step-daughters, Linda Yates(Gene) of Franklin, KY, Jean Young (Melvin) of Ashland City, TN; one half brother, Clarence Dickens of Old Hickory, TN; sister Dean Williams of Pegram, TN; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Myatt will be held on Wednesday, December 7th at 12:00 p.m. with Brother Fred Mayberry officiating.  Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will follow at Bon Aqua Methodist Church Cemetery.
