Larry Joel Halbrooks; of Dickson, TN; Age 65; Passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. Mr. Halbrooks was born on April 02, 1951 in Hohenwald, TN to the late Joel Halbrooks and Frankie [Staggs] Hyndman.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Halbrooks; as well as his sister Frances Batey. Mr. Halbrooks is survived by his step-father Vance Hyndman of Fairview, TN; daughters Michelle Halbrooks (Shane) of White Bluff, TN, Christina McCarthy (David) of Columbia, TN, and Stacey Halbrooks (Jamie) of Dickson, TN; brothers Ricky Halbrooks of California, and Charles Staggs of Michigan; sisters Mary Marrow of La Vergne, TN, and Teresa Heard of Unionville, TN; as well as his 7 grandchildren Jasper, Taytan, Paxton, Tayor, Hanna, Savanna, and Ivy. The Visitation for Mr. Halbrooks will begin on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 3 – 8 PM and again on Friday, November 18, 2016  from 10 – until time of service. Funeral services will begin on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.
