Mrs. Hazel Marie “Estes” Burgess Edwards; of Dickson, TN; Age 87; Passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at The Waters of Smyrna in Smyrna, TN. Mrs. Burgess Edwards was born in Dickson County, TN on October 20, 1929 to the late Rev. Lexie L. & Mrs. Liza (Davidson) Estes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husbands Robert L. Burgess & Noel D. “Joe” Edwards; sisters Thelma Hooper, and Helen Parker; as well as her brother Billy Estes. She is survived by her two step-sons Noel Edwards (Jeanetta), and Ronnie Edwards (Phyllis) both of Dickson, TN; daughter Linda Jenkins (Gary) of Smyrna, TN; step-daughter Helen Kimbro (Bob) of Little Falls, NY; brother Eugene Estes of Dickson, TN; sister Christine Buttrey of Fairview, TN; three grandchildren Melissa Bowers, Wesley Jenkins, and Nancy Karen Vanhoozier; as well as her 5 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Hazel will begin on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2:30 – 8:30 PM and will continue on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 11 – until time of service. Funeral services will begin on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Rev. Lewis Bratton officiating.
