Mary Ann Bass

Mary Ann Bass, age 77 passed away on Tuesday, October 4th at her residence in Lyles, TN.  She was born on August 23rd, 1939 to the late Mark and Hattie Scott Shirley in Nashville, TN.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Bass in 1990. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Bon Aqua Baptist Church.  She is survived by three sons, Danny Bass (Lois) of Arkansas, Wayne Bass (Elizabeth) and Mark Bass of Lyles; daughter Annette Crumpler (Todd) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; as well as eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Services will be held on Thursday, October 6th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home. with Brother John Smith officiating.  Interment to follow at Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte.   Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, October 5th from 12:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
