Sarah Agnes Oliver

Sarah Agnes Tubville Oliver, age 95 passed way on Tuesday, August 2nd at her residence in Lavergne, TN.  She was born on May 12th, 1921 to the late John and Della Jane McCaleb Baker in Hickman County, TN.  She was the last survivor of 13 children. Mrs. Oliver was married and had lived on a farm in Hickman County for 50 years.   In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters; and husbands Euin R. Tubville and John C. Oliver, Jr. She was a member of the Pinewood Baptist Church and loved gardening, flowers, canning, cooking, sewing and crocheting. She is survived by her son, William Leon Tubville of Mt. Pleasant, TN; daughter Christine McClain of Lavergne; five grandchildren, Bill, Jonathan, and Michael Tubville, and Darren and Stacy McClain.  She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; Zach, Lindsey, Cole, Luke, Jake, and twins Elonia and Londin McClain.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5th at 1:00 p.m. from the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, with Brother Donnie Craig officiating.  Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Friday at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
