Hulon Tidwell

Mr. Hulon Tidwell; of White Bluff, TN; Age 79; Passed away on Tuesday, July 05, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Tidwell was born on Sunday, November 29, 1936 to the late Mr. Ersie & Pearl (Greenville) Tidwell in Hickman County, Tennessee. Mr. Tidwell served his country in the United States Army from ’59 – ’60 and went on to retire in 1991 as a Record Assistant from the Baptist Sunday School Board. Mr. Tidwell is survived by his wife Jean Tidwell of White Bluff, TN; daughter Vanessa Flowers (Paul) of White Bluff, TN; as well as his grandchildren Alison, Ashley, and Jon-Paul Flowers. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Agnes Wren; as well as his brother Alton Tidwell. Funeral services will be held  on Tuesday, July 12th at 12:00 p.m. from the White Bluff Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Larry Cochran officiating.  Interment will follow at the Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, July 11th from 4:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.Arrangements entrusted to Dickson Funeral Home 209 East College Street, Dickson, TN 37055.  Phone 615-446-2313.
