Josephine Izabella Baker

Josephine Izabella Baker, age 91 passed away on Friday, June 3rd , 2016 at St. Thomas Hickman Nursing Home in Centerville, TN.  She was born on June 27th, 1924 in Hickman County, TN to the late Pickney Prentiss Whitson and Nellie Weatherspoon Whitson Sager.  She is survived by her husband, Frank Baker of Dickson; daughter Brenda Baker White (Gerald) of Brentwood, TN; sisters Ann Sager Tidwell of Bay St. Louis, MS; Dean S. Buttrey of  Nashville; two grandchildren, William White and Rebekah White Harris; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler White, Lainey and Hank Harris.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 5th at 4:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Charles Hawkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, June 4th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
