Roger McGee Burnett

Roger Burnett, age 66 of Dickson, passed away at his residence. He was on the first football team (1959) for Glencliff High School and loved all sports, especially football. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Burnett, Step-son Cory Hartman, four daughters; Pamela Almond, Sherry Johnson, Keisha Burnett, and Kala Burnett, step-daughter Robyn Barker, five brothers; Albert Burnett, Sam Burnett, Tommy Burnett, Bill Burnett, and Paul Burnett, and one sister, Kathleen Jenkins. There are nineteen grandchildren. Remains are in the care of Dickson Funeral Home where visitation will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 20th, from 6-8 PM, and Wednesday, Jan. 21st, from 12-8 PM, and Thursday, Jan. 22nd, from 10 AM until time of service. Funeral Services will be Thursday, Jan. 22nd, beginning at 2 PM with Bro. Tommy Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Sherwood Cemetery.
