Biography

Mrs. Elsie Irene Daugherty was born April 18, 1929 to Gilp T. Daugherty, Sr. and Lizzie (Taylor) Daugherty in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away July 2, 2010 at the NHC HealthCare of Dickson.

She is survived by her brother, Gilp T. Daugherty, Jr. of White Bluff and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Maudie Sullivan Naomi Hutchins, and Emma Louise Daugherty and brothers Joe, John, Oscar, and Lawrence Daugherty.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 3rd, from 4-8 pm and Sunday, July 4th, from 11 am until time of service at the White Bluff Chapel. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 4th, from the White Bluff Chapel beginning at 2 pm with Bro. David Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery.
