Biography

Mrs. Kathryn Merchal Johnson was born October 19, 1931 to Douglas Watts and Gertrude Merchal Lane in Dickson County, Tennessee. She passed away March 4, 2010 at NHC Healthcare Center in Dickson. She was retired as cook for the Bowl-A-Rena in Dickson.

Survivors include: husband Carrol Viston Johnson; son, Donald Van (Sheryl) Crow; step-sons, Stephen (Peggy) Johnson and Harry (Vicki) Johnson; step-daughters, Carolyn Hartan and Cay (Jim) Hyland; grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Shelby, and Nicole.

Visitation will be Friday, March 5th, from 4-8 PM and Saturday, March 6th, from 11 AM until time of service. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 6th, from the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home beginning at 2 PM with Dr. Richard Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
